Disney Sea

Kieran:

At Disney Sea, I went on the Aquatopia. It was very fun. It is a sea ride. We went into a waterfall and I got all wet. After that, we went to a land with a volcano. It's called Mysterious Island. We went on a submarine. There were sea monsters under water. 1 of the monsters looked like an octopus. The octopus was so big we shot it with green lightning. After that, we went for a jungle show. We saw lots of creatures. We saw a butterfly, crocodile, and spider. After that, we went to the Tower of Terror. I was a bit scared of the monster. A statue monster. First, we sat down. Then, a woman pressed the button, then we went up. You see the man that has a beard zapped by the idol monster. He also zapped us when we went up. I'm a bit scared of it. My stomach was not so comfortable for a while. After that, we come back down. Then we see our picture. Then we got out of the building and we found Grandma and Naomi.

Then we watched a show in the sea. Most of it was dragons. Then we went to Little Mermaid's House. We got a treasure map. We went for the Whirlpool first. It was very fun, a bit like the teacups. After that, mommy and I went for the Balloon Race. After that, we watched the show that was Little Mermaid. The show was quite fun. It was quite scary because of Ursula and her serpents. Then it was done. Then we went for a show in the sea. Mommy bought some food first. We ate churros. After that, she bought some popcorn. I think Disney Sea is nice, but a bit scary, I suppose.

Naomi:

We ate popcorn and we ate ice cream. And then, I wanted to pee. And then, we said "woah" on the teacup game. And then, I went on the jellyfish with grandma.

Kyoto

Kieran:

We took a bullet train to Kyoto. We went to the Ninja restaurant on the first day for dinner. And then the next morning, we ate bread and butter and I ate scrambled eggs. And there was a salad. That was for breakfast. We went all the way to a temple at the tip of the mountain. The name of the temple was called Kiyomizu. On the way down, we got three Miyazaki toys. One was Ponyo fish. The Ponyo fish was bigger. The other one was a puppet Ponyo. That one was smaller. The smaller Ponyo was Naomi's. I had a Sosuke. My Sosuke was also a puppet. You can put your finger inside my and Naomi's puppet.

We fed fish and turtles. There were some ducks in that pond. We ate curry and rice for dinner.

Disneyland

Kieran:
On Friday, we went to Disneyland. We went on the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters and we watched some movies. My favourite was Blasters because we got to shoot all the bad guys. At 6 o'clock we went on the Astro Blasters. It was really fun. I got so many points. After we went to the Blasters, the parade came out. All the princesses and princes came out. Naomi liked Princess Jasmine.

Daddy and I went on a rocket. It was really fun because I got to go up and I drove the spaceship. We watched Mickey Mouse movie. (N: We also watched Little Mermaid and Aladdin). And The Lion King. At the Astro Blasters place, I watched Captain E-O.

Naomi:
I like Disneyland because it was so fun. And we got to play on the tea party. Then we laughed and the mouse came out of the teacup. (K: The teacups were Cinderalla's). We got to play the merry go round. We got to play the car. We saw the genie. (K: The genie changed colours). We put on the shoe. We just tried it. And we got to eat some ice cream and some sandwich cream.

Snacky foods

On Saturday, we took a train and then we went to a Fire Museum. The Fire Museum was inside the train station. There was a movie showing in the Fire Museum. I liked the movie. After that, we went all the way to a school and there were toys. We made origami frogs. We played with the toys. I like the Toy Museum because the toys were special and cool. We saw sword fighting inside the Toy Museum. The people were wearing black.

On Sunday, we went to a church and we sang songs and played. We met a friend called Sam. After nap, we went to the park and we saw balloons.

Today we had a lot of snacks. We had four snacks. We ate a cream puff and we ate a cheese sandwich with a shape of a fish on top of it.

Then we went to the bookshop. The bookshop was full of books. At the bookshop, we read one book. We read Darth Vader and Son. That's the story. The story was about them playing together. The son was 4 years old. The bookshop was very good. I like the bookshop because all the books were very nice.

After the bookshop, we went back out and had two more snacks. We had mochi and we had dumplings. We ate the mochi on a bench outside. The mochi was sweet and had red beans inside. The dumpling was very juicy. It was very delicious with lots of meat. We went home and ate the dumpling

Today, we went for a walk in the park. We saw a lake with fishes and ducks. The fishes had very big mouths. They were black and orange. We walked around and picked leaves. We went
over a bridge. I like the pond and I want to go back to the pond next time.

We went to a restaurant and ate our lunch there. Naomi and I ate spring rolls. It tasted nice.

Day 4

We've been here 4 full days.

Arrived 10:45pm the first night. K and N didn't sleep on the airplane and Ezra slept for all of an hour and half at best. No major meltdowns, which is about the most we can hope for at this stage.

When the plane landed, N let out such a whoopdeedoo! "Yay, we made it! We made it to Japan!!!"

At the airport toilets, the toilets had baby seats so mommies don't have to struggle to hold kids while trying to pee! I love Japan already!

All the way back from the airport, N kept looking out of the taxi window and whined "But I don't see any Japan..." When pressed further, she said "There's no red circle".

At home, K came out of the toilet, saying "I didn't flush. There are too many buttons, I don't know what to do!"

While taking a walk, N said that a car went past a red light (probably turning on red). Then, K quipped "Maybe in Japan, green means stop and red means go".
